For nearly thirty years, Diplomat Coffee has managed the journey from crop to cup for hospitality, foodservice, and office coffee partners. In January 2026, we took ownership of the most critical step in that journey.
Our new facility at 8100 American Way in Groveland, Florida, just west of Orlando, spans 70,000 square feet with 40-foot ceilings and is purpose-built for high-volume roasting, packaging, and distribution. Packaging lines are running today. Our classic Burns roaster is operational. When the plant is fully commissioned in January 2027, the design capacity will reach up to 4,000 pounds of coffee per hour.

Capacity That Grows with Your Program
Three 240 kg roasters anchor the floor. A classic Burns roaster (1,000 lbs. per hour) is already in production, joined at full build-out by two IMA fully automated, computer-controlled roasting systems, each running 1,200 to 1,600 lbs. per hour.
An 8-compartment green coffee silo holds 100,000 pounds of green coffee at any and all times. That is not just storage. It buffers against origin disruptions and shipping delays, and it lets us hold multiple origins at once so blends stay true when a single lot runs short. Six additional silos hold roasted whole bean, so finished coffee is staged and ready rather than waiting for a roast cycle.
For partners planning a rollout, a new property, or a seasonal spike, the practical takeaway is simple: capacity is no longer the constraint on your growth.
Consistency, Engineered In
Volume only matters if cup quality holds. IMA systems are computer-controlled, so roast profiles are executed to spec, batch after batch, rather than being recreated by hand. Green coffee dust collection systems remove chaff and debris from the process, resulting in cleaner roasts and a cleaner plant.
Three high-speed grinders handle every grind spec, from fine fractional pack to coarse, so the grind matches your brewing equipment rather than forcing your equipment to adapt.
The facility operates in accordance with HACCP and GMP standards, and we are pursuing SQF certification as commissioning is completed.
Every Format Your Operation Needs, Under One Roof
Most coffee programs are not a single format. A hotel needs fractional packs for the guest room, bulk for the banquet department, and retail bags for the lobby market. Fragmenting that across three suppliers creates three invoices, three lead times, and three quality standards.
Our packaging department covers the following:
· Fractional ground packs, 1.75 to 4 oz, on a high-speed IMA fractional pack system

The same lines that run Diplomat Coffee run your brand. We offer full private-label and co-packing services, from blend development through finished, packaged product ready for distribution.
